The Customer

PDC Brands is one of the fastest growing wellness, personal care and fragrance companies in the world. With a wide product portfolio of premium yet affordable brands, it’s products are available in over 80 countries and are sold in over 100k+ global retail outlets. PDC Brand’s global headquarters is based in Stamford, USA and the European headquarters is located in Uxbridge, Greater London. Some of its well-known brands include Eylure, Elegant Touch and Cantu.

The Challenge

The lease at the company’s current offices were coming to and end and they were looking to relocate. Minerva has developed a strong, long – standing relationship with PDC Brands, having worked with them for over 15 years, and therefore they had been asked to project manage the IT aspect of the move.

The Solution

Minerva took care of the entire office move from the start to finish. This included surveying the new office and liaising with third party contractors including furniture fit out companies and AV companies. Minerva also prepared and planned the cabling and hardware layouts, in addition to configuring and installing the hardware. As their current hardware was aging, the move was the ideal time to replace their infrastructure, and we were able to purchase several new laptops despite the challenges of hardware shortages due to the effects of the pandemic.  The new infrastructure provided a stable and efficient solution for the new office as PDC Brands moved towards hybrid working and was perfect for managing future growth.

Minerva also provided project management and managed services. Minerva consultants were also available on site during the moving days to ensure everything ran smoothly. The technical account manager was also on hand to provide additional support after the move, whenever required.

The Outcome

PDC Brands had a certain timeframe and budget they had to work within, and Minerva were able to accommodate all of their requests.

The initial discussions began in March and within a few months, the team settled into their new offices. With the help of Minerva, it was a smooth and seamless move, with minimal disruption to the business.
