Lecico Bathrooms – Migration to Office 365

The Challenge:

Lecico wanted to migrate from their current on-premise solution to Microsoft Office 365 as they were looking to streamline IT operations and boost productivity.  Their server was out of warranty and after discussion with Minerva they realised that moving to Office 365 was the best solution for upgrading their infrastructure and keeping costs low.

The Solution:

Having proven our worth since taking over support in 2018, the decision to use Minerva’s services was straightforward.

We performed a remote cut-over migration, which meant that the on-premises mailboxes were migrated to Office 365 in a single migration batch.

Our experts were able to carry out this task remotely with minimal disruption to the client.  A site visit was also made to upgrade users to the latest version of Office.

The local exchange server was then decommissioned.

Outcome:

Minerva were able to migrate Lecico Bathrooms seamlessly to Office 365, meaning that all users would now be on the same version of Outlook and Office applications within Office 365.  Also, as Office 365 is scalable, they are now able to add new users quickly and efficiently, while controlling costs.
